When teeth become decayed, they are more prone to break down and can deteriorate. It is best to remove all of the decay and protect the tooth by getting a filling placed. The Procedure

For most filling patients we will have to numb the tooth. Once the decay is removed and the filling material is placed, our doctor light cures the filling making it a hardened surface that provides a seal to protect the tooth from further breaking down.
